Long poems grapple with narrative but aren't prose.

Just one quote from an interesting article at http://www.poets.org/viewmedia.php/prmMID/21750 I find I have the desire to write a long poem, but rarely write more than a page. Connecting them all up and calling it one poem always seems like a false format to me.
