Robert Archambeau is a critic and poet whose books include Laureates and Heretics, Word Play Place and Home and Variations. He has written articles for Poetry, Boston Review, Chicago Review, Pleiades, PN Review and many others. Among his awards are those awarded by the Academy of American Poets, Illinois Arts Council, and a grant from the Swedish Academy. He is professor of English at Lake Forest College (having formerly taught at Notre Dame and Lund universities). He has a blog at samizdatblog.blogspot.com
